What it is.
SWEEPAM Foundation is the registered non-profit arm sitting alongside SWEEPAM Ltd. Where the company runs the paid, revenue-generating operation, the Foundation exists for the work that makes that operation sustainable long-term but doesn't generate revenue on its own.

Education, workforce training, research and community grants. Funded by donors, corporate sponsors, and SWEEPAM Ltd as anchor donor; governed independently.
02 · Mission
Why it exists.
Recover Africa's land and water — turning waste into livelihoods, and coastlines into clean, thriving ecosystems, starting in Lagos and scaling pan-African. The Foundation carries the part of that mission markets alone won't fund: teaching the next generation, training the workforce already doing this work informally, and publishing the data that makes the case for scale.

SWEEPAM Ltd commits as founding and anchor donor from year one.

Clean Waters Education
In-school and community sessions on waste literacy and ocean health across coastal Lagos, starting with schools nearest SWEEPAM's Ajah site.
Curriculum, teacher toolkits, termly reach targets
Waste Warriors Workforce
A paid training-to-employment pipeline for coastal youth into dive teams, sorting lines, and Seabin / tracking maintenance — the roles SWEEPAM Ltd hires for.
Stipended trainees, certification, hire-back rate into Ltd
Research & Advocacy
Open data on plastic and waste volumes in West African waterways, produced with university and NGO partners, including the Recyclers Association of Nigeria.

How it runs.
Company Limited by Guarantee
Registered as a CLG — the standard non-profit structure used across SWEEPAM's sister initiatives (e.g. WACHS). Independent board, distinct from SWEEPAM Ltd's board, with oversight on programme spend and impact reporting.
SWEEPAM Ltd is the founding and anchor donor, but the Foundation's accounts and decisions are its own.
